Fall Cleaning Checklist

Since you’ll probably be spending more time indoors during the winter, it makes sense to prepare your home with a thorough fall cleaning before the cold weather sets in. Here are a few things you should focus on to head off a major spring cleaning session in a few months:

-       Wash Your Walls, Windows, and Doors

Scrub off grime and dust from the surfaces you don’t often touch! Since you’ll be spending more time looking at your walls and windows, it’d be a nicer view if they were nice and clean, right?

-       Clear Out Closets, Attics, and the Garage

The less clutter you have, the more spacious and welcoming your home will feel. And wouldn’t it be great to actually park in the garage? There’s nothing better than a warm car on a cold morning, after all.

-       Gut the Gutters!

Make sure your gutters are catching all the coming rain this winter. Break out the ladder and get the leaves and debris out – just don’t forget about the downspouts!

-       Get Rid of Old Furniture, Lawn Debris, and other Random Junk!

If you’ve got excess stuff that needs to be recycled, donated, or thrown out, Happy Haulers can take it all at once! Furniture, beds, bikes, branches – you name it, we can haul it!

Our process is simple: when we pick up junk for removal, we distribute useful items to several charitable groups, such as homeless shelters, children’s and battered women’s shelters, Goodwill, and others. We also recycle whatever we can before we take the remainder to landfill stations.

Spring cleaning is for chumps! Get a head start on sprucing up your home and contact us for a pick-up appointment today!
